24 hour pool marathon for breast cancer

The Seven Seas Pub in Grimsby are chalking their cues to raise funds for the Pink Rose Suite.

Organiser Jason Reynolds decided to fundraise for the Pink Rose fund in support of his friend James Curtis fundraising in memory of his wife.

Jason and seven others will play pool for 24 hours starting at 12pm on Saturday September 10, they will be running two tables until 12pm on Sunday September 11.

Jason said: “The pink rose suite is very close to many people’s hearts in the local community and we really want to support them following on the care they gave to our friends Leanne Curtis.”

Victoria Winterton partnerships manager for the Health Tree Foundation said: “We are really pleased the team have chosen to fundraise for the Pink Rose Fund.”
