Monster truck set to delight youngsters

Father Christmas and his helpers will be ditching the sleigh in favour of a monster truck when they pay a pit stop to Scunthorpe General Hospital.

The man in red will be making his 12th annual visit to the children’s’ Disney ward on Friday December 21 at around 2pm.

Father Christmas – otherwise known as local fundraiser Chalkie White – will be bringing a bumper load of presents, which have all been donated by Jackson Build and the local community, for youngsters on the ward.

Together with his helpers he will be dishing out the delights, as well as giving children the chance to have their picture taken in his monster truck.
